Changing or cancelling a plan happens inside the app, under Settings › Plan. There is nothing to cancel today, because nothing is charging. When billing opens, cancelling will run to the end of the month you have paid for, and take one button.
The thing itself is on every plan, including Free: reading the screen, explaining it, moving the cursor, clicking, and typing an answer out. Free is not a demo. What the paid plans add is how much you can use it, and control over what the app puts on your screen while it works.

The lines through $12.99 and $19.99 CAD are not a sale tactic. They are what Pro and Max cost a month the day billing opens, printed now so that nothing about either is a surprise later.
There is nothing to buy yet either way. Billing is connected but not open, so nothing can be charged, and nothing you already have will start charging without notice, which is also what the terms say. When the plans open, this page changes first, and you will be told before it does.
Early access has no published end date, because guessing one and then moving it is worse than not naming it. What is fixed is the notice: you will not wake up to a charge.

What the plans change is the count: fifteen a month on Free, two hundred on Pro, five hundred on Max. Max is the only plan that can set thinking to Careful.
Three settings need a paid plan: quiet mode, turning off the individual pieces the app draws while it works, and keeping the window out of screen shares and recordings. On Free the app shows its work, which is the honest default anyway. That is the whole of the difference.
Every solve costs us around three cents of real compute, and a little over four at the top end — finding the text in your image, then the model that writes the answer back — and it costs that again every time you press the hotkey.
That is why the plans count solves instead of promising unlimited use: unlimited would be either a lie or a price nobody would pay.
One answer. You press the hotkey, drag a box, and what comes back is a solve — a one-line reading of an error message and four paragraphs of working count the same.
Nothing breaks. The app stays installed and signed in, your history stays where it is, and the count starts again when your month does. If you are hitting five hundred most months, you are using it harder than any plan we will sell. It is not something the app decides for you.
You are told first, and then accounts move to Free — fifteen solves a month — unless you have chosen a plan. Nothing starts charging on its own, and no card can be on file, because there is nowhere to put one yet.
Two signed in at the same time on Free and Pro — a laptop and a desktop, say. Three on Max. Signing out on one frees the slot for another.
There is nothing to cancel yet, because nothing is charging. When the plans open, cancelling will be a button in the app, and it will run to the end of the period you have already paid for rather than cutting off the day you press it.
